Smoking Cessation Advisors

We have a qualified smoking cessation advisor who runs weekly clinics. Please contact reception for more details or to book an appointment.

Health Care Assistant and Phlebotomists

We have a health care assistant who carries out new patients checks, blood pressure checks, ECGs, minor dressings and takes blood. We also have phlebotomists for patients who are medically unable to get to hospital.

Community Nurses

A team of district nurses, attached to the practice, look after patients confined to their homes, or after discharge from hospital. With their wide range of skills, they deliver quality care to acute, chronic and terminally ill patients. We also have an health visitor.

Practice Nurses

Our practice nurses can be seen by appointment for a comprehensive range of clinics, such as asthma, COPD and hypertension. They are also available for cervical smears, injections, wound dressings, suture removals, health promotion checks, travel advice and immunisations, flu injections, advice on healthy eating, minor health problems and any other treatments required by the doctors. Our nurses, who are all specially trained for work in general practice, hold two surgeries daily.
